Is Kilauea Volcano in Hawaii about to erupt?

Tourists from all across the world are visiting Volcano National Park on the Big Island of Hawaii. The visitors center issued an alert.

An orange alert was issued this afternoon on the Island of Hawaii warning there was a chance for the Kilauea volcano to erupt:

Kīlauea volcano is not erupting. Increased earthquake activity and changes in the patterns of ground deformation at Kīlauea’s summit began occurring in the early morning of January 5, 2022, indicating the movement of magma in the subsurface.

The USGS Hawaiian Volcano Observatory (HVO) is raising the volcano alert level/aviation color code for Kīlauea from Advisory/Yellow to Watch/Orange due to

How to Display your Photos

If you’re anything like me, you probably take a lot of photos. One of the great things about digital photography is that we aren’t limited by how much film we can buy, carry, or develop. However, the downside to this digital freedom is that whilst you likely have a great many photos, you might also find yourself not doing as much with them as you would like. In fact, many people rarely look back at the photos they have

Sicily ain’t the place you’ve seen in the movies. This Anti-Mafia tour explains why…

Once you’ve had your fill of beaches and vineyards, on Contiki’s Real Sicily trip, you’ll join up with a local guide in front of the opulent Teatro Massimo, one of the most jaw-dropping opera houses in Europe. Snaking through the historic centre, you’ll meet all of the business owners who have bravely united in opposition to the Mafia protection rackets.

At every stop you’ll learn about how this inspiring civic movement originally formed: with hoteliers, farmers, and restaurant owners staring down Mafioso culture and saying: “Enough”. (And remember, as this is a MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® experience, you’ll be supporting the Anti-Mafia movement financially through Contiki, in alignment with the 11 goals of our sustainability strategy).

From confiscated Mafia HQs turned into educational community centres, to moving street art that documents the Anti-Mafia movement, this tour isn’t just about organised crime, but the very soul of Sicily: filled with beauty, culture,
