The current blizzard has prompted chaos on the East Coast and created severe political problems for Mayor Bloomberg as residents decry the lack of snow elimination. In the meantime, in Newark, Mayor Cory Booker is using Twitter to speak with residents to better direct snow removing efforts. In some instances, he is shoveling out automobiles himself. His use of Twitter has reached the nationwide media (I believe hack a Facebook account his Public Relations Department may be helping as that is what they receives a commission to do) While I applaud the hands-on leadership in Newark, his use of social media factors highlights the ability of this new management software.
